VISA OVERVIEW

The one that is granted to the foreign citizen who intends to establish residence in the Country under the terms of the law.
REQUIREMENTS

1. PASSPORT OR SIMILAR DOCUMENT
The document must be valid for not less than 6 (six) months.

2. COMPLETED APPLICATION FORM
The form, available in the High Commission, entitled REQUEST FOR ENTRY TO MOZAMBIQUE must be duly completed and signed by the applicant. The form can be completed only in English, Portuguese or French, in capital letters and black or blue ink. Abbreviations and acronyms are not allowed.

3. RECENT PHOTO
Applicants must provide a recent passport-sized photo.

4. TRAVEL ITINERARY (Tickets & Bookings Reservations)
Applicants must provide a copy of the airline ticket. The ticket must be round-trip.

5.GUARANTEE OF SUBSISTENCE
Proof of guarantee of food and accommodation conditions in Mozambique

6. MEANS OF SUPPORT
Proof of guaranteed housing and daily expenses in Mozambique, or document with proof of own income, if the applicant wishes to live of his/her own income.

7.  MEDICAL REPORT CERTIFICATE
Medical certificate (Valid for at least 03 months).

8. CRIMINAL RECORD CERTIFICATE
Criminal Certificate issued by the competent authority of the applicant’s country of nationality or of last residence for at least one year (Valid for at least 03 months).

9. TERM OF RESPONSIBILITY

Applicants are required to present a Term of responsibility letter issued in favor of the spouse, minor children, or incapacitated applicants for the Residence Visa (Including Marriage certificate and Birth certificate).

Note 1: Criminal certificate, medical certificate& all other Certificates in English must be translated to Portuguese language by a Sworn Translator.

2- The request of Visa is Subject to the outcome (Turn Around Time = 15 days Minimum).
