VISA OVERVIEW

The one that is granted to foreign citizens duly accredited for the purpose by the competent authorities and is intended to allow the holder to enter the country to participate in sporting competitions or cultural demonstrations.
REQUIREMENTS

1. PASSPORT OR SIMILAR DOCUMENT
The document must be valid for not less than 6 (six) months.

2. COMPLETED APPLICATION FORM
The form, available in the High Commission, entitled REQUEST FOR ENTRY TO MOZAMBIQUE must be duly completed and signed by the applicant. The form can be completed only in English, Portuguese or French, in capital letters and black or blue ink. Abbreviations and acronyms are not allowed.

3. RECENT PHOTO
Applicants must provide a recent passport-sized photo.

4.INVITATION LETTER OR CREDENTIAL
Applicants are required to present an invitation letter or credential issued by the competent Mozambican authorities in favor of the applicant. The document attests to the applicant’s participation in sporting and/or cultural activities.

5. MEANS OF SUBSITANCE
Applicants must provide proof of guarantee of existence of means of subsistence, accommodation, eating conditions during the stay in Mozambique.

6. TRAVEL ITINERARY (Tickets & Bookings Reservations)
Applicants must provide a copy of the airline ticket. The ticket must be round-trip.

VISA FEES
Sports and Culture visas are subject to application processing fees.

Normal Visa Fee = RWF 81,500.00
Urgent Visa Fee = RWF 101,900.00
